It just got easier to run instructor-led training programs. Logical Operations APIs have been strengthened to make it nearly touchless to promote and deliver training classes. As a leading provider of course materials that power instructor-led training events, Logical Operations curriculum has been used to train over 40 million upskilling professionals. So, it was critical that LO make it easier for its network of over 3,500 training providers to promote, provision, deploy, and deliver training materials.
Technology-enabled education is in Logical Operations’ DNA. "Though it started with integrating systems with some of our large, global training providers, we designed a set of simple, flexible APIs that enable training providers and partners of all sizes to rapidly integrate with our services," says Shea Brock, Director of Information Technology at Logical Operations. In addition to providing connectors for the delivery of content to the end user, the CHOICE API Stack now includes connectors that allow for promotion of courses using Logical Operations’ content outlines, provisioning the content for each student, and providing students with access keys — with little to no costly administrative support required beyond the initial setup of the APIs.
For nearly 40 years, training providers have relied on Logical Operations course materials to deliver classes. “As the world has ‘gone digital’ and more and more events are conducted in a virtual manner, it became critical that we make it easier for our customers to advertise and deliver classes,” details Jim Gabalski, Vice President at Logical Operations, adding “A training provider can now promote classes on their website using our Catalog API, provision training materials using our Order API, integrate with their Learning Management System with single sign-on using our SSI API, and use the Deliver API to provide students access to their learning materials — all without human involvement.”
Adoption of API use is on the rise across all industries. According to the second annual RapidAPI Developer survey (conducted at the end of 2020), 1500 developers and IT executives indicated that API adoption was increasing across the board. And executives stated that they are prioritizing investments in the API economy. Training providers can now take advantage of that trend to reduce costs of setting up and delivering courses.
