Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware and a Champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, offers events and resources throughout the month of October to help protect individuals and organizations from cyber threats.
Celebrated every October, National Cyber Security Awareness Month was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure everyone has the resources needed to stay safer and more secure online. Coordinated and led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the Department of Homeland Security, NCSAM has grown exponentially since its inception, reaching consumers, small- and medium-sized businesses, corporations, educational institutions, and young people across the nation and internationally. This year marks the 12th year of NCSAM.
As an official Champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, Logical Operations recognizes its commitment to cyber security and online safety. Throughout October, Logical Operations will participate in several events and initiatives in support of NCSAM, including, but not limited to, a free webinar on October 8th, “3 Actions Employees Can Take NOW to Combat Cyber Threats”, and the NCSA’s weekly Twitter chats that tackle current cyber security topics. In addition, Logical Operations has created Cyber Security Public Service Announcement flyers designed for companies to share and post within their company to help employees recognize and avoid security threats before it is too late.
