ATD Certification Institute Recertification Seal for MCCT

Logical Operations is pleased to announce that their Modern Classroom Certified Trainer (MCCT®) program has been pre-approved by the ATD Certification Institute to offer educational programs that can be used towards initial eligibility and recertification of the Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD) and Associate Professional in Talent Development (APTD) credentials.

APTDs must earn 40 recertification points and CPTDs must earn 60 recertification points every three years to maintain their credential. Recertification points may be earned through a variety of activities, including continuing education on topics outlined in the Talent Development Capability Model™. The MCCT program from Logical Operations has been approved for a maximum of 15 points.

MCCT prepares instructors at all levels of experience for all aspects of delivering a course using the latest training technologies and approaches. In the MCCT program, instructors will learn class preparation techniques, how to effectively manage classrooms and learners, how to teach successfully in all modern classroom modes (including asynchronous delivery and virtual learning), and how to respond to the special technical challenges of the modern classroom. Instructors can attend the MCCT course virtually, all while being coached by one of Logical Operations’ senior instructors.

"Teaching virtually isn't just about mastering Zoom or Microsoft Teams, it's about running an effective and engaging class. Students struggle with virtual learning because they are relatively new to it, and teachers struggle with it because they try to simply lift and place what they've been doing into an online classroom,” said Jon O’Keefe, Master MCCT Trainer and Technology Education Jedi, Logical Operations. “MCCT helps teachers understand the differences between in-person learning and virtual learning so that they can strive to run the most engaging classes possible."

A complete outline of the MCCT program and upcoming class dates can be found at www.mcctcertified.com.
