Logical Operations Announces Key CyberSec First Responder (CFR) Threshold
November 9, 2017 Rochester, NY

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware and certification programs, is thrilled to announce its partnership with over 100 commercial training partners worldwide for delivering CyberSec First Responder (CFR-210) certification classes.

“We’re extremely proud to work with such an impressive list of commercial training partners toward preparing today’s IT workforce to earn the CFR certification,” said Joe Mignano, VP of Channels at Logical Operations. “The last decade has been filled with a series of data breaches that have increased in size and influence. Together with our training partners, we are working to ensure today’s information technology workforce has the threat analysis and incident response skills needed to significantly reduce or even eliminate the amount of stolen data in these incidents.”

The number of exceptional IT security breaches continues to grow exponentially, which is part of an overall trend toward increasingly destructive hacking incidents. These hacking incidents further highlight the enormous demand for qualified security professionals who can protect their organizations’ networks and prevent significant losses through incident response.

The CFR certification demonstrates IT security professionals have the knowledge necessary to be the first line of response against cyber-attacks. The certificate validates the skills needed before, during, and after an attack – including the ability to analyze threats, design secure computing and network environments, proactively defend networks, and respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents. Upon completion of the course offered by Logical Operations’ commercial training partners, certification candidates can sit for the high-stakes CFR exam virtually or in-person through their local Pearson VUE testing center.

The CFR certification is ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024 accredited, aligns with specialty roles in the NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework, and is approved by the United States Department of Defense (DoD) as a baseline certification on DoD Directive 8570.
