Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, is pleased to announce that the CyberSec First Responder: Threat Detection and Response (CFR) training and certification program has been approved for The Tech Partnership Fund.
The addition of the CyberSec First Responder (CFR) cybersecurity training and certification program to the Tech Partnership Training Fund allows employers in England to receive funding for the cost of providing CFR training to their existing and future IT talent. The Tech Partnership Training Fund is provided by The Tech Partnership, which is recognized by the British Government as the Industrial Partnership for the Information Economy and the skills arm of the Information Economy Council. The Tech Partnership Training Fund provides funding for employers to invest in IT training, with the purpose of stimulating increased investment in training that supports business growth and competitiveness. Employers can access up to 50% of the cost of the training, providing a significant opportunity for employers to increase their organization's critical cybersecurity skills to prevent and respond to cyber-attacks.
By participating in the ProCert Accredited CyberSec First Responder training and certification program, IT professionals will gain a holistic ability to analyze threats, secure networks, handle incidents, and utilize other critical security skills to become the first line of response against cyber-attacks. This course is designed for information assurance professionals who perform job functions related to the development, operation, management, and enforcement of security capabilities for systems and networks. Upon completion of the course, students are able to sit for the high-stakes Certified CyberSec First Responder exam in person or virtually through Castle Worldwide.
Program manager for the Tech Partnership, John Pritchard, said: "This is a fantastic opportunity for companies to upskill their staff with the latest cyber security knowledge to ensure that their business stays safe and is aware of cyber security threats.”
“We’re thrilled that CyberSec First Responder has been approved as part of the Tech Partnership Training Fund, which will offer our customers in England the opportunity to receive funding to invest in their current and future IT talent,” said Bill Rosenthal, CEO, Logical Operations. “People are the key to protecting an organization’s network; even with the best hardware and software solutions, an organization won’t be fully protected without properly trained professionals. The CyberSec First Responder training course and certification program uniquely provides IT talent with the critical cybersecurity skills needed to protect and defend their organization from increasingly sophisticated cyber-attacks.”
