Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, is pleased to announce that the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), an agency under the Malaysia Ministry of Human Resources, has approved CyberSec First Responder (CFR) to their Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) for IT training and certification.
The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) was developed to help employers in Malaysia receive financial assistance to equip employees with in-demand skills that increase the number of skilled workers in the national labor market and create more competitive businesses. The inclusion of CFR in this government subsidy fund allows for training organizations to receive a reimbursement for every student who enrolls in a CFR course.
Under this government subsidy, the Knowledge Group of Companies in Malaysia will be running their first CFR class in Kuala Lumpur in November 2015, consisting of employees from local banks, government agencies, and telecommunications companies. Following this, an official launch of CFR classes will take place in December 2015.
According to Sam Khoo, Managing Director, Logical Operations, “We are extremely pleased that CFR is now approved by the Malaysia Human Resources Development Fund, which will offer our customers in Malaysia the opportunity to receive funding to provide employees with critical cybersecurity skills.”
