SC IT Solutions Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is Approved to Offer Logical Operations’ CyberSec First Responder Training and Certification Program Under Malaysia’s Human Resources Development Fund
October 8, 2015 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, is pleased to announce that the Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), an agency under the Malaysia Ministry of Human Resources, has approved CyberSec First Responder (CFR) to their Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) for IT training and certification.

The Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF) was developed to help employers in Malaysia receive financial assistance to equip employees with in-demand skills that increase the number of skilled workers in the national labor market and create more competitive businesses. The inclusion of CFR in this government subsidy fund allows for training organizations to receive a reimbursement for every student who enrolls in a CFR course.

Under this government subsidy, SC IT Solutions in Malaysia is now approved to hold CyberSec First Responder training courses. The CyberSec First Responder: Threat Detection and Response course will prepare security professionals to become the first line of response against cyber-attacks by teaching students to analyze threats, design secure computing and network environments, proactively defend networks, and respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents.

According to Datin Vinitaa Sivabalan, Director, SC IT Solutions Sdn Bhd, “SC IT Solutions is privileged to be able to run such a relevant cybersecurity course here in Malaysia. We will increase cybersecurity awareness in Malaysia with the support of Logical Operations. SC IT Solutions trusts that this unique training program will be the prime initiator to many more such trainings that will be conducted in Malaysia.”

According to Sam Khoo, Managing Director, Logical Operations, “We are extremely pleased that CFR is now approved by the Malaysia Human Resources Development Fund, which will offer our customers in Malaysia the opportunity to receive funding to provide employees with critical cybersecurity skills.”
