Introduction to Locksmithing Kicks Off New Breed of Tech Education Books
January 27, 2016 Rochester, NY

To explain complex industrial topics, Logical Operations has launched a new breed of technical education books, which are heavily illustrated with intricate 4-color CAD illustrations and photographs. “Our new Crisp Series is designed to be used for both training and self-study materials,” said Bill Rosenthal, CEO of Logical Operations. “Introduction to Locksmithing, by Max and Steven Spiwak, has dozens of 4-color CAD crosscut and exploded view drawings, making the book much easier to understand than other books on comparable subject matter. It’s an impressive, downright beautiful book,” continued Mr. Rosenthal.

“The balance of clear, concise explanations without any of the usual fluff that typifies most technical education books, along with stunning CAD illustrations, really explains locksmithing at a different level than anything that’s ever been done before,” said Max Spiwak, author of Introduction to Locksmithing. “As a rule, technical people don’t have time to read long narratives containing extraneous information,” said Steven Spiwak, coauthor of Introduction to Locksmithing. “Our book is specifically designed to convey complex concepts, methods, and procedures in a clear and concise manner. We’re excited to see more of our books in this series from Logical Operations. We are especially looking forward to releasing our new book on master keying with Logical Operations.”

“At Logical Operations, we’re constantly looking for better, more engaging ways to teach complex subjects. Our new Crisp Series has done just that. I challenge you to pick up our new locksmithing book, look at just one page, and not immediately turn to the next,” said Mr. Rosenthal. “This is particularly true of our section on lock picking,” continued Mr. Rosenthal. “A certain mystique has always surrounded this topic. However, it’s not just the stuff of spy novels, it’s one of the cornerstones of modern locksmithing. Introduction to Locksmithing really explains this difficult-to-learn topic at a level that makes it available to everyone. I’m really excited by what we’ve collectively accomplished and have high hopes this series.”
