Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, announces the availability of course outlines for three courses developed in partnership with the National Cloud Technologists Association (NCTA), the largest vendor-agnostic cloud computing organization today.
The NCTA’s unique CloudMaster certificate program provides IT professionals with a strong foundation in cloud technologies, knowledge of the overall cloud architecture and management of cloud infrastructure, as well as a solid technical background in modern web services deployment and administration. The CloudMaster certification program is comprised of three courses that will be available from Logical Operations in spring 2016: Cloud Technologies, Cloud Operations, and Cloud Architecture. In these courses, students will learn concepts, principles, techniques, and practices needed to administer and secure a modern cloud-enabled business environment. Unlike other cloud training programs, this curriculum is platform-agnostic, and therefore offers students a more comprehensive approach to cloud computing.
Delivered on the Logical Operations CHOICE® digital learning platform, the NCTA cloud computing curriculum will also give students direct access to powerful digital learning tools before, during, and after class to help reinforce learning beyond the classroom. With the CHOICE curriculum, students will learn concepts through various methods, including video learning, peer-to-peer learning in social communities, checklists for on-the-job support, assessments that check for understanding, and so much more.
Speaking on behalf of the NCTA, Richard Schatzberg, CEO, stated, “The partnership with Logical Operations is a milestone event for the NCTA. It represents the first time that NCTA content will be delivered outside of our higher education partners. With Logical Operations, our content will be delivered through a broad channel that will provide outstanding delivery options to a wide spectrum of professional interested in cloud computing.”
“We’re excited to partner with the NCTA and are pleased to release the course outlines for the vendor-neutral cloud computing curriculum that we are developing with the NCTA,” said Bill Rosenthal, CEO, Logical Operations. “Organizations are continuing to see the benefits of moving towards cloud services, and our partnership with the NCTA will help us provide IT professionals with the unique knowledge and skills needed to successfully use and implement cloud services using many different cloud technologies.”
