Become one of the first organizations to offer SCYBER training by getting your instructors certified.
Train the Trainer Events
Once your instructor's resume is approved by Cisco, he or she is eligible to attend Cisco's SCYBER Train the Trainer event.

- Cost: The event is free of charge (learning partner must pay for T&E), but it is recommended that instructors participate in the practice lab portion ($200).
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Higher education degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, and/or IT
- Previous Systems, Network, Hacking and/or Instruction background
- Experience in penetration test engagements and mitigation strategies
- Critical infrastructure subject matter expert
- Performed network and security architecture reviews, whitepapers and/or speaking engagements
- Designed, implemented, and conducted troubleshooting for large complex networks utilizing minimum 5 different network Protocols
Minimum Requirements
- Must have experience as a security certification instructor
- CCSI certified is highly recommended
- Professional experience is a plus, though not a requirement
- Experience in working in a Security Operations Center highly encouraged, but is not required
Instructor Training Process
- Send potential resumes to: CCSI-support@cisco.com and include "SCYBER - Logical Operations" in the subject line
- Each resume will be carefully considered individually
- Identified trainers will have 3-4 weeks lead time to participate in training (course, exam and additional lab training)
- Minimum 6-8 instructors to run training session for instructors
- First training session date dependent upon candidate pool meeting prelim criteria
- No cost of training instructors outside of travel expenses (recommended additional lab practice $200)
