5,000 Instructors Master Online Teaching Skills

Logical Operations announced that over 5,000 professional instructors have been trained on best practices for virtual delivery of live classes. The Modern Classroom Certified Trainer (MCCT) program, facilitated by Logical Operations Technology Education Jedi, Jon O’Keefe, grew rapidly during the pandemic as instructors needed to move to virtual delivery of live training classes.

“Moving from a physical to a virtual classroom is a challenging transition for even the most experienced educators,” says O’Keefe. “While many attempt a ‘lift and place’ from the classroom to Zoom, they quickly learn that effective delivery of live, virtual classes is quite different.  MCCT focuses on nuances associated with virtual classes, including: class preparation, course design, student engagement, and finally, the delivery of interesting classes.”

Throughout the pandemic, Logical Operations offered MCCT to an expansive network of instructors and training providers through a virtual delivery schedule with classes running bi-weekly. And instructors are singing its praises on social media with their peers.  “I think the biggest compliment I get as an instructor is when my students pass their MCCT certification and they post about it on LinkedIn or Twitter,” says O’Keefe. “When they share comments like ‘Hey, go take this class, I learned a lot!’ it feels really great!”

For the foreseeable future, the MCCT program will continue to be offered by Logical Operations taught by Jon O’Keefe.  A complete outline of the offering and upcoming class dates can be found at www.mcctcertified.com.
