March 26, 2015 Rochester, NY

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, today announces the formation of a Marketing Development Fund to support training providers in marketing and promoting the CyberSec First Responder: Threat Detection and Response course and certification.

As part of the newly established Marketing Development Fund, Logical Operations will provide a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $1,000 per training organization for pre-approved demand generation and marketing activities related to the CyberSec First Responder training course. These funds will be available for marketing activities executed between April 1, 2015 and June 30, 2015, and may be extended thereafter on a case-by-case basis.

The CyberSec First Responder: Threat Detection and Response training curriculum, available in April 2015, takes a holistic approach to preparing security professionals to analyze threats, secure networks, handle incidents, and utilize other critical security skills to become the first line of response against cyber-attacks. This course is designed for information assurance professionals who perform job functions related to the development, operation, management, and enforcement of security capabilities for systems and networks. Upon completion of the course, students are able to sit for the high-stakes Certified CyberSec First Responder exam at any Castle testing site worldwide.

“We are excited to provide further support to our training providers as they promote the CyberSec First Responder training program to their own markets,” said Bill Rosenthal, CEO, Logical Operations. “The CyberSec First Responder course and certification program is unique in its holistic approach to training security professionals to prevent and respond to cyber threats, and we are confident that this course will meet the needs of today’s security professionals and organizations everywhere.”
