Logical Operations Releases the NCTA Certified Cloud Technologist (NCT-110) and NCTA Certified CloudOps Specialist (NCO-110) Exams
October 26, 2016 Rochester, NY

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, announces the availability of exams for the Certified Cloud Technologist and Certified CloudOps Specialist certifications, which are part of the CloudMASTER® certification program developed in conjunction with the National Cloud Technologists Association (NCTA).

The CloudMASTER® certification program is comprised of three high-stakes exams, Certified Cloud Technologist (NCT-110), Certified CloudOps Specialist (NCO-110), and NCTA Certified Cloud Architect (NCA-110) (coming this November), that test students’ knowledge on key cloud computing concepts and real-world applications relative to the leading public cloud service providers like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Rackspace Cloud, OpenStack Red Hat, Office 365, and Google Apps. By passing all three exams (or a single cumulative exam), students will achieve the CloudMASTER® certification.

To help students prepare for the CloudMASTER® certification, Logical Operations offers three corresponding courses that provide IT professionals with a strong foundation in cloud technologies, knowledge of the overall cloud architecture and management of cloud infrastructure, as well as a solid technical background in modern web services deployment and administration. In these courses, students will learn concepts, principles, techniques, and practices needed to administer and secure a modern cloud-enabled business environment. Unlike other cloud training programs, this curriculum is platform-agnostic, and therefore offers students a more comprehensive approach to cloud computing.

About the National Cloud Technologists Association

The National Cloud Technologists Association was created in 2012 with the intent to provide vendor-agnostic cloud technology training for IT professionals within all levels of an organization. In comparison with other cloud computing certifications, the NCTA CloudMaster certification demonstrates real-world knowledge through practical activities and lab exercises, allowing students to learn and showcase a complete portfolio of skills on a wide range of common cloud technologies.
