July 19, 2017 Rochester, NY

Logical Operations today announced participation in a new offering from Oracle University Workforce Development Program in Oracle Marketing Cloud. The company, a current Oracle Workforce Development Program Partner will become the first to provide Oracle Marketing Cloud training through Oracle University Workforce Development education program for professionals. The program was developed to complement Oracle’s current Workforce Development Program while opening up access to innovative training in the growing field of cloud marketing. Through today’s announcement, Logical Operations will be able to expand its Oracle training offerings and reach a new audience interested in marketing cloud skills and proficiency.

Oracle University Marketing Cloud provides an introduction to the principles of modern digital marketing, including: business to business (B2B) marketing, business to customer (B2C) marketing, content marketing, data management, and testing and optimization. In addition, the program provides opportunities for hands-on applications of these principles using Oracle Marketing Cloud’s suite of tools. By participating in this program, students gain an introductory understanding of modern marketing principles in five Oracle Marketing Cloud platforms and how they are applied in the real world.

Over a training period equivalent to five business days, participants receive instruction in Oracle Eloqua (B2B), Oracle Responsys (B2C), Oracle Content Marketing (OCM), Oracle Data Management Platform (DMP) and Oracle Maxymiser (OTO – Oracle Testing and Optimization).

Organizations that participate in this program can offer Oracle Marketing Cloud training in their region after signing a Partner contract with Oracle University Marketing Cloud. Benefits include a train-the-trainer session for instructors and authorization to offer Oracle Cloud training that meets the growing demand for digital marketing education.

“Oracle University’s new Marketing Cloud Workforce Development Program offering represents the first of a three-tier program being developed over the next year, directly aimed at engaging and enabling both professionals and students seeking to pursue a career in modern marketing,” said Andrew Conlan, Senior Director of Training, Oracle. “We’re very excited to launch a program which provides tangible knowledge and certifications to address the skills gap that can exist between academic learning and the specific software skills required in the marketing industry. Logical Operations is an important member for the program in North America and the United Kingdom, and we’re delighted to work with an organization that shares our commitment and goals for academic education.”

“Adding Oracle Marketing Cloud offerings is a natural extension to our existing Oracle Workforce Development Program membership and Logical Operations’ broader efforts to assist individuals and companies bridge the digital skills gap,” said Jeff Felice, EVP Partners & Alliances at Logical Operations. “Through our new collaboration with Oracle University Marketing Cloud, we can assist our partners in preparing the next generation of digital marketers to better understand the core concepts of their profession and use of Oracle Marketing Cloud technologies to advance their careers.”

As an Oracle University Marketing Cloud Workforce Development Partner, Logical Operations will be able to offer the program’s newly developed curriculum and continuing education opportunities, which align with the organization’s current training and accreditation offerings. This collaboration furthers Logical Operations’ ability to offer high-quality training on the latest Oracle Cloud technologies supporting today’s leading organizations.
