Logical Operations Launches New Self-Paced Training Solution for Emerging Technologies in Partnership with Packt
January 10, 2019 Rochester, NY

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of instructor-led information technology courseware, together with Packt, announces the launch of a new line of self-paced, mentor-supported training products designed to fill the emerging technologies skills gap.

The demand for skills development related to emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Web Development is skyrocketing (The 13 most in-demand tech jobs for 2019), but many training providers are finding it difficult to offer courses in these up-and-coming areas due to lack of access to experienced instructors. The new self-paced and mentor-supported training products, available now from Logical Operations, have been developed as a turnkey solution to help training providers easily deliver in-demand emerging technologies training without the need for an instructor.

With this training solution, students will receive: 12 months of access to videos containing experts explaining each concept using practical examples; a student manual providing both text and practice exercises; job aids for use as students apply their newly acquired skills; access via email to an expert mentor; and peer-to-peer discussion forums. At any point during their learning journey, students can personally message an expert mentor or join a discussion with their peers. While the recommended steps are provided, these courses are designed to put students in control of their own learning experience, so they are free to complete the course however best fits their learning needs.

“We are pleased to partner further with Packt to provide this innovative blended learning solution,” said Jeff Felice, EVP – Partners & Alliances, Logical Operations. “Training providers can easily adopt this solution, paving a way for them to expand their business while also enabling developers to access the latest and most comprehensive, hands-on training offerings.”

Heather Gopsill, Head of Channels and Partnerships at Packt, said: "We are excited to launch this new product offering in our partnership with Logical Operations. At Packt, our focus is to help developers stay up-to-date with the very latest in emerging technologies so that businesses can stay ahead of the curve.
