Logical Operations Becomes National Cyber Security Awareness Month 2017 Champion
September 28, 2017 Rochester, NY

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware and certification programs, is thrilled to announce that it has become a Champion of National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) for the third year in a row. Logical Operations will be joining a growing global effort among businesses, government agencies, colleges and universities, associations, nonprofit organizations and individuals to promote online safety awareness.

Recognized every October, NCSAM is coordinated and led by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with the goal of ensuring all digital citizens have the resources needed to stay safer and more secure online while also protecting their personal information. As an official Champion, Logical Operations recognizes its commitment to cybersecurity, online safety and privacy.

“As a National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) board member company, Logical Operations is proud to be a National Cyber Security Awareness Month partner and to work within the channels we serve to raise awareness for and teach people the skills they need for staying safe online – both at work and home,” said Joe Mignano, VP Channels, Logical Operations.

NCSAM has grown exponentially since its inception, reaching consumers, small- and medium-sized businesses, corporations, educational institutions and young people across the nation and internationally. NCSAM 2016 was an unprecedented success, generating more than 2,260 unique news stories – an increase of 30 percent from NCSAM 2015’s media coverage. Kicking off NCSAM’s 14th year, this October presents a new opportunity to expand cybersecurity and privacy education and awareness globally.

This year, Logical Operations will be presenting numerous efforts to help recognize and support National Cyber Security Awareness Month and its weekly themes. These efforts include a complimentary webinar on the Logical Operations certification and training programs that can help end-users and corporations better handle and respond to data security risks. Logical Operations will also have giveaways, involvement with STOP. THINK. CONNECT.™, Lock Down Your Login, and more. Additionally, Logical Operations will be hosting its first conference, LO-CON17, on October 18th and 19th in Baltimore, MD. The conference will emphasize the importance of cybersecurity certification and training to key organizations within the commercial training channel.
