New eBook Reader Functionality Now Available on the Logical Operations CHOICE® Learning Management System Platform
September 19, 2016 Rochester, NY

Logical Operations, the world’s leading provider of information technology instructor-led courseware, is pleased to announce the availability of a cloud-based eBook reader on the Logical Operations CHOICE® learning management system platform.

With the new eBook reader option, any notes or highlights that students or instructors make while reading their course materials online are automatically saved directly in the cloud so that they are available at any time and regardless of what platform is used (such as Windows, Android, or iOS). This added functionality enhances the learning experience and makes it easier for students and instructors by eliminating the need for notes to be extracted and saved separately from the course material.

The eBook reader option is available now for Logical Operations’ most popular course titles (available for purchase at https://store.logicaloperations.com/), and the new functionality will be continuously added to the majority of Logical Operations’ CHOICE course titles by the end of October 2016. In addition to the eBook reader, students and instructors will continue to have access to their course content in ePub and PDF formats as well.

“In building Logical Operations CHOICE®, we’ve put our emphasis on the instructor and how to teach and manage in a modern classroom environment where students and instructors may be remote from each other and may not even learn in the same time zones,” remarked Bill Rosenthal, CEO of Logical Operations. “As the cost of remote learning technology has come down and the capability has increased, we can now create a learning experience – even when the instructor and students are remote – that delivers on the high-quality promise of learning from an expert, and avoids many of the pitfalls of pure e-learning where students work independent of an expert to help them learn,” added Rosenthal.
